Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center will cap fan attendance at 2,500 for 2020 fall volleyball season
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In preparation for the highly anticipated return of Florida volleyball, the University Athletic Association has announced a reduced capacity plan and fan procedures for the upcoming 2020 season in Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.
To comply with physical distancing requirements, Exactech Arena will host a limited percentage of its listed seating, putting the capacity at 2,500.
In accordance with campus guidelines, face coverings (over the nose and mouth) will be required for all fans throughout the entire game. This includes when fans are entering and exiting the arena. Fans may only remove face coverings while actively eating or drinking. Failure to comply with this important health guideline could result in loss of ticket privileges.
Tickets will be sold in pairs of two or four in a single-match format to comply with campus physical distancing guidelines. Fans that renewed for the 2020 season already will be refunded the full amount and will need to purchase individual match tickets within the limited capacity model.

Florida’s home opener is slated for Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Gators will host three other home contests this fall: Oct. 31 vs. Alabama (3 p.m.), Nov. 20 vs. Georgia (7 p.m.) and Nov. 21 vs. Georgia (5 p.m.).
The 2020 SEC volleyball season will consist of an eight-match, conference-only schedule over six weeks of competition beginning Oct. 16 with each school competing against four opponents in a double-header format.

The UAA will require mobile ticketing this fall in an effort to reduce contact between fans and staff. The safety of our student-athletes, staff, and fans remains our top priority, meaning fans will see new guidelines, signage and enhanced cleaning protocols throughout the arena.
Please note this includes all fans abiding by a strict physical distancing policy of six feet between groups. Physical distancing will also be required when entering and exiting the arena. As a reminder, all fans must wear face coverings (over the nose and mouth) when entering, once inside and when exiting the arena, with the lone exception being while they are eating or drinking.
Updated Bag Policy
