GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In an effort to further prepare for SEC Championships and to possibly obtain a qualifying time for NCAA Indoor Championships, Parvej Khan participated in the Men’s Mile at the Terrier DMR Challenge on Friday, February 16.

The freshman has already had a sensational start to his collegiate and Gator career. Khan’s early career has been headlined by his performance last week at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational where the Madhya Pradesh, India native set a new school record in the Men’s Mile with a time of 3:56.64.

This week, Khan improved his school record time by a little over a second as he tallied a new personal best of 3:55.41. This time resets both the school record and Indian National Record in the event.
