UF TF: Jasmine Moore named a finalist for the Honda Sport Award for Track & Field

Moore won 3 NCAA Titles during the 2023 track and field season

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- Florida Gator All-American Jasmine Moore was announced as a finalist for the 2023 Honda Sport Award for Track & Field on Monday.

The Honda Sport Award has been presented annually by the CWSA for the past 47 years to the top women athletes in 12 NCAA- sanctioned sports and signifies “the best of the best in collegiate athletics”.  The winner of the sport award becomes a finalist for the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the prestigious 2023 Honda Cup which will be presented during the live telecast of the Collegiate Women Sports Awards Presented by Honda on CBS Sports Network on June 26, at 8:30 ET/5:30 PT, in Los Angeles.

This honor comes as Moore had a historic season for the Gators. She finished the season with the Indoor Long and Triple Jump Titles and the Outdoor Triple Jump Title. Moore is a seven-time NCAA Champion and ten-time USTFCCCA First Team All-American who has medaled in every NCAA Championship horizontal jump competition she has competed in. This season she set the NCAA Record in the Indoor and Outdoor Triple Jump and Indoor Long Jump.

The Honda Sport award winner for track & field will be announced later this week after voting by administrators from over 1,000 NCAA member schools. Each NCAA member institution has a vote.
