Jasmine Moore’s 2023 campaign was historic, featuring championships and records at every turn. During the indoor season, Moore earned First Team All-American and All-SEC honors in both the long and triple jump. At the SEC Indoor Championships, she won gold in both the long jump (6.91m/ 22’8″) and triple jump (14.57m/47’9.75″), earning her fifth and sixth consecutive horizontal jump golds as a Gator at the SEC Championship. She won 2023 SEC Indoor Women’s Field Athlete of the Year.

She followed up the performance a few weeks later at the NCAA Indoor Championships, winning gold in the long jump (7.03m/23’0.75″) and triple jump (15.12m/49’7.25″). Moore became the first woman ever to clear both 15m in the triple jump and 7m in the long jump at the same meet. She is second woman to ever clear both 15m and 7m indoors and only the fourth woman ever in indoor or outdoor horizontal jumps to clear these marks. Moore’s triple jump mark set a new American and collegiate record and her long jump was a new collegiate record.

Moore won the 2023 USTFCCCA Indoor Women’s Field Athlete of the Year award for her performances, the second consecutive year that she has earned the honors. She became only the fourth field athlete to ever win the award in back to back years.

The outdoor season went similarly for Moore, who earned First Team All-American and All-SEC honors in both the long and triple jump for the second time in 2023. At the SEC Outdoor Championships, Moore was again golden, earning first in the long jump (6.88m/22’7″) and triple jump (14.14m/46’4.75″). For the second consecutive year, Moore swept the indoor and outdoor SEC titles in the horizontal jumps. Her SEC title winning long jump mark was a new school record in the event. She won 2023 SEC Outdoor Women’s Field Athlete of the Year.

At the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Austin, Texas Moore earned 16 points for the Gators, finishing with gold in the triple jump (14.78m/48’6″) and bronze in the long jump (6.66m/21’10.25″). Her mark in the triple jump was a collegiate record and the second farthest jump in the world this year. With her gold in the triple jump, Moore has medaled at every SEC and NCAA horizontal jump competition as a Gator and has won gold in every triple jump competition. She has won seven of the eight horizontal titles at SEC and NCAA meets this season and fifteen of sixteen for her career.

Her outdoor performances won her the 2023 USTFCCCA Indoor Women’s Field Athlete of the Year award, her third National Field Athlete of the Year award as a Gator.

During the 2023 season, Jasmine Moore set the collegiate record in the indoor triple jump, outdoor triple jump, and indoor long jump. She also set the school records in all four horizontal jump events. A full list of Moore’s 2023 accomplishments can be found below.
