Florida travels to Austin, Texas for the NCAA Outdoor Championships
AUSTIN, Texas – On Wednesday, the Florida Gators Track and Field teams will begin the final part of their journey for the program’s fourteenth national title as they compete in the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Florida sends 23 athletes, 14 women and 9 men, who have qualified in 24 total events, 16 women’s and 8 men’s events. The 30 entries are second most in the nation.
On the men’s side of the competition Florida has nine athletes entered in eight events. Their 12 event entries are the fifth most in the country. The men’s team enters the Outdoor Championships ranked fourth in the nation and just finished sixth at the SEC Outdoor Championships. They seek to repeat as Outdoor National Champions after winning the title in 2022.

NCAA OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS MEET INFORMATION (all times Eastern)
The first event Wednesday will begin at 7:32 p.m. ET with the men’s 4×100 team competing in the semifinal round. Malcolm Clemons will compete in the long jump, the lone final of the day for the Gators. Day one of the NCAA Outdoor Championships will include semifinals for the men’s 100m, 200m, 400m, 400m hurdles, 4×100, and 4×400.
Day two beings at 8:32 p.m. ET with the women’s 4×100 semifinal. The women will compete in the long jump and shot put finals on day two of the NCAA Championships. All other events contested, the 100m, 100m hurdles, 200m, 400m, 400m hurdles, 800m, 1500m, 4×100, and 4×400 are semifinals.
Day three consists of all men’s finals and the women’s heptathlon competition. The heptathlon begins at 3:45 p.m. ET with the 100m hurdles. Men’s events begin at 9:02 p.m. ET with the 4×100 finals.
The final day of competition belongs to the women, with all remaining women’s finals and the conclusion of the heptathlon competition.
