UF Swim & Dive: Gators Finalize Season Opener At Georgia

Florida will dive into the new season on Oct. 30 in Athens.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will open the 2020-21 season on the road versus the Georgia Bulldogs on Oct. 30 inside Gabrielsen Natatorium.

Due to COVID protocols, the dual meet sessions will be split by gender to allow appropriate distancing. The women’s team will kick things off with their meet at 10:00 a.m., with the men to follow at 2:00 p.m.

The University of Georgia and Gabrielsen Natatorium are still evaluating and determining meet day procedures, such as allowing spectators. Finalized guidelines are expected to be announced in the near future.

Live meet results will be made available on the official twitter of Gators Swimming and Diving, the MeetMobile app and Georgia’s swimming and diving website.

A full 2020-21 schedule for both the men’s and women’s teams will be announced at a later date.
