UF S&D: No. 5/6 Gators Head to Athens for Last Chance Meet

The Bulldog Invitational – Last Chance will take place Feb. 25-26

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Coming off their first SEC Championship sweep since 1993, the Florida men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will send 14 to compete at the Bulldog Invitational – Last Chance this weekend in Athens, Ga.

Last chance meets, held after conference championships, are designed to give swimmers that are on the edge of NCAA qualification one last opportunity to improve times and odds at selection.

Among the travel party include Edouard Fullum-Huot and Allie Piccirillo, who competed at last week’s SEC Championships. Fullum-Huot swam B-cut times of 42.61 in the 100 free, finishing 10th overall, and 19.43 in the 50 free for 11th. Piccirillo notched an 11th place finish in the 200 fly at 1:56.74 and was 24th in the 400 IM.

All-American Brennan Gravley and former SEC Champion Amro Al-Wir will also make the trek north after not competing in College Station last week.

Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. on both Saturday, Feb. 25, and Sunday, Feb. 26. Finals are set for 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 4 p.m. on Sunday. Results can be followed along on the by clicking here<https://www.sidearmstats.com/ugeorgia/swimming/>.
