UF S&D: Eight Gators Named to Academic All-District Team

The All-District teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Eight Gators were named to the 2022-23 CSC Academic All-District Teams Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators announced.

Ben Cote, Jace Crawford, Mason Laur and Alfonso Mestre were selected on the men’s side.

Maha Amer, Katie Mack, Tylor Mathieu and Carolina Pagac earned a spot on the women’s team.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District(r) Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America(r) program separately recognizes swimming & diving honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA – for each gender.

Academic All-District(r) honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America(r) ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America(r) honorees will be announced in mid March.
