The senior impressed against TCU and Florida State last week
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida’s Josh Goodger was named the ITA UTR National Player of the Week, the ITA announced on Wednesday.
Goodger won both of his singles matches in straight sets against TCU and Florida State last week in the No. 6 position against then-No. 125 Jake Fearnley (TCU) and in the No. 5 position against Enzo Le Seguillon (FSU).
The senior took his UTR score from a 13.05 to a 13.17 with those two victories.
Goodger is undefeated on the year at 7-0 in dual matches and 13-0 overall in singles play and jumped into the latest ITA singles rankings at No. 82 due to his strong performances.
