CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Gator Great and Florida men’s golf volunteer assistant coach, Billy Horschel was named to the United States Team for the 2022 Presidents Cup on Wednesday.

Horschel will make his debut after being selected by team captain Davis Love III, joining Kevin Kisner, Max Homa, Collin Morikawa, Cameron Young and Jordan Spieth who were all picked today. The group makes up the U.S. roster along with Sam Burns, Patrick Cantlay, Tony Finau, Xander Schauffele, Scottie Scheffler and Justin Thomas.

“Billy has been one of the top players on the PGA TOUR for a long time, and it’s honestly hard to believe this will be his first Presidents Cup,” said Love III. “He is a fiery competitor and someone you want by your side in team competition. I know he will embrace the week at Quail Hollow and will have some passionate U.S. Team fans rallying behind him.”
