UF MBB: Mann to Withdraw from NBA Draft and Return to Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Rising sophomore Tre Mann will withdraw from the NBA Draft and return to the University of Florida.

“I want to thank my family, our coaching staff and my teammates for their support throughout this process,” Mann said. “I’m excited to come back to UF to continue growing as a player and a person and to play in front of our Florida dans and the Rowdy Reptiles again!”

The Gainesville native averaged 4.9 points with five double-figure scoring games during his freshman campaign. Mann’s return boosts the Gators’ experience at the guard position, where he’ll be one of five guards with collegiate experience alongside juniors Noah Locke and Tyree Appleby and fellow sophomores Scottie Lewis and Ques Glover.
