GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida men’s basketball will face Maryland at the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday, Dec. 12.
The Gators are 2-1 all-time vs. the Terrapins, most recently splitting a home-and-home series with a road win in Dec. 2002 and an overtime home loss in Dec. 2003. The Gators previously faced Providence in Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational, topping the Friars at Barclays Center, 83-51, on Dec. 17, 2019.
The game will be part of a quadruple-header that will also include Purdue vs. North Carolina State, Iona vs. Yale and Fordham vs. Miami. Ticket information, game times and television broadcast details will be released at a later date.
