Notables

  *   Four players made their Florida debut: Tyree Appleby, Colin Castleton, Anthony Duruji and Samson Ruzhentsev.
  *   Tre Mann led the Gators with 19 points, topping his previous career high of 13 (twice last season). Keyontae Johnson added 16, and Tyree Appleby had 15 in his Florida debut. All 15 of Appleby’s points came in the second half.
  *   Florida trailed by as many as 12 in the first half, but went on a 12-0 run early in the second half to go from down 42-35 to a 47-42 lead.
  *   The Gators closed the game on a 9-0 run shooting 9-for-10 from the free throw line after Lonnie Grayson’s 3-pointer gave Army a 69-67 lead with 2:45 to play. Grayson led Army with 13 points.
  *   Florida’s increased aggressiveness in the second half paid off as UF enjoyed a 17-4 edge from the charity stripe after halftime.
