Head Coach Mike White
On Georgia’s run late in the game…
“Glad we hung on. These SEC games are hard to win, all of them are hard to win, can’t forget that. Did we play great down the stretch? Absolutely not, but Georgia was fantastic in transition offense off of makes and misses. With those guys in particular in this league, no lead is safe. No lead is safe really throughout college basketball, but especially a team that prides themselves on transition, initial push, again, off of makes and misses.”

On Florida’s shot selection…
“Our two big issues as of late have been shot selection and the turnovers. Our shot selection was really cleaned up tonight, especially in the first 20, it was really good. We had one guy take a couple tough ones, but other than that I really liked our looks in the first half. The second half, didn’t have many tough looks. I want to say we had one that was forced a little bit, but it was addressed.”

On Ques Glover’s play…
“I really liked his attitude, his body language tonight, I thought he did a good job defensively. I was considering saying it, and as I study this box score I’m going to say it, he probably played as well as any guard that we had today. It may have been his best game of the year.”

Tre Mann
On the big win…
“Every win is big, but we needed this one to get back on track after our last two… We have to play the same way we played and get another win.”

On what February has been like for the team…
“It’s been tough, a lot of adversity… Our coaches tell us to fight through it. That’s all we can do. That’s all we can do, we have to fight through adversity.”

On what the key was tonight…
“The key was just to lock in on the scout, we knew a lot of players would get work and we tried to key in on those plays. Offensively for us, it was just taking care of the ball and getting the shot.”

Noah Locke
On making history with his 200th career 3-pointer…
“It means a lot. I mean, I feel like, it’s definitely something that I should be proud of… It’s definitely a big accomplishment.”

On how critical the win was…
“Yeah, I thought it was really critical. We can use that to do something. Georgia is a good team. Just getting back, getting this win. We knew it was going to be a tough game for us and we knew we needed to come out really good in transition. They have fast guards. Being able to get it, that’s good.”

On how missing open threes affects him…
“I mean, it’s not really something that I have to make. I feel like me being the shooter, me being wide open – it should be like a layup to me. Just letting one go and keep shooting when I’m open. I know I can shoot the ball well, so continue to just keep shooting and eventually it’ll fall.”
