Attacker Madison Rielly comes to the Gators from Maryland
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida women’s lacrosse team officially announced the addition of attacker Madison Rielly to the program as a transfer on Thursday.
The rising redshirt junior comes to the Gators from the University of Maryland, where she spent her first two collegiate seasons.
The Manhasset, N.Y. native was the 21st ranked recruit in the 2018 class and she was an Under Armour All-American in the same year.
During the 2018 campaign, she led Manhasset High School to the New York State Championship.
Rielly was a 2017 Honorable Mention All-American selection and earned a spot on the Under Armour All-American All-Tournament Team in the same season.
In both the 2016 and 2017 seasons, she was named NCGLCA All-County and she also had the opportunity to compete in the Under Armour All-American Senior Games.
Rielly played club for the Yellow Jackets and is the daughter of Stephen and Kristen. Her father, Stephen, played collegiate lacrosse at Hofstra.
