UF LAX: Pavinelli Claims AAC Attacker of the Week Honors

The senior totaled 11 points on six goals and five assists in two games this week.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – For the second time this season, Danielle Pavinelli has been named AAC Attacker of the Week. This is the seventh time in her career she has earned this accolade.

Pavinelli had 11 points this past week, recording six goals and five assists in route to a 2-0 week for the Gators. Her four-goal performance on Saturday against Mercer was her third hat-trick of the season, and 25th of her career.

The attacker had three assists on Wednesday against Princeton, good for her fifth career game of three or more. The senior has now recorded at least two assists in six consecutive games, and has registered a point in eight straight games. Pavinelli is tied for the team-high in goals with 19 and is second on the team with 14 assists this season.

This is now the fourth consecutive week the Gators have had someone receive a player of the week honor. No. 11 Florida will look to make it eight wins a row, as they will be back in action tomorrow, hosting Furman at 12 p.m.
