UF LAX | LoPinto Earns AAC Weekly Honor

The sophomore attacker was tabbed to the Honor Roll after her performance against No. 6 Maryland

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Sophomore attacker Emma LoPinto was tabbed to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll after her performance against then-No. 6 Maryland, as the league announced Monday.

LoPinto took home her second AAC honor of the season, after having earned Attacker of the Week accolades after Week 1.

The sophomore recorded five points on four goals and one assist against the Terrapins on Saturday. She went 4-of-5 for an .800 shooting percentage and she also recorded her first career draw control in the game.

The Manhasset, N.Y. native is ranked in the Top-10 in the conference in four different categories: Goals per game (3rd | 3.67), Points per game (3rd | 5.00), Shots per game (6th | 6.00), Assists per game (7th | 1.33).

The Gators return to action Tuesday when the Furman Paladins come to town. Opening draw is slated for 12 p.m. at Donald R. Dizney Stadium and the game can also be streamed on ESPN+.
