UF LAX: Hall Earns IWLCA First Team All-American, Harrison and Heller Named Third Team

Gators lacrosse has now had 40 IWLCA All-American accolades. Hall is the 15th first team selection in program history and the first since 2021.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida lacrosse team was tagged with three IWLCA All-Americans, announced Thursday afternoon. Maggi Hall earned First Team honors, along with Emily Heller and Liz Harrison who were named to the Third Team. Florida now has 40 IWLCA All-Americans in program history.

Hall is the 15th first team selection in the orange and blues history, and the first since Shannon Kavanagh did it in 2021. The Bel Air, Md., native has had a record setting season, totaling career highs in goals (60), assists (54) and points (114). The assist and point totals are records for the most in a UF season, as Hall has the record for career assists (127) and most assists in a game (8). The senior was named AAC Attacker of the Year earlier this month and ranks second nationally in total points this season. Hall has 10 hat-tricks this season, including seven or more points in nine contests. This is her first IWLCA All-American honor.

Harrison has been the main catalyst to the Gators ranking third nationally in draw controls per game. The Marietta, Ga., native has also had a record setting season, winning a program record 228 draw controls with 13 games of 10 or more. The captain owns the Florida record for most draw controls in a game (19) and in a career (438). This is Harrison’s first IWLCA All-American honor.

Heller finds herself as an IWLCA All-American for the second consecutive season. The graduate student has totaled a career best 46 goals along with seven assists. She ranks second on the team in ground balls (25) and draw controls (43), while totaling 10 caused turnovers. The West Babylon, N.Y., native is one of three players to have 100 goals, 100 ground balls and 200 draw controls in a career at Florida. Heller has totaled six hat-tricks this season.
