GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 10th-ranked Florida lacrosse team welcomes the No. 7 Loyola Greyhounds to Donald R. Dizney Stadium on Saturday for the Gators’ third Top-10 matchup this season.

Opening draw is slated for 12 p.m. and fans that cannot be in attendance can watch the game on ESPN+.

This is the 10th meeting between these two teams, with Florida leading the series 6-3. The Gators are 4-1 in Gainesville, Fla. against the Greyhounds. In seven of the nine matchups, Florida has scored at least 10 goals, including a series high 17 in a 17-16 overtime victory in Feb. 2018. The last three meetings have belonged to the Greyhounds, with Loyola taking the last contest 12-9 on March 11, 2022. Florida has held Loyola to under 10 goals in four of the nine previous meetings.

Florida is coming off a 17-12 victory over Arizona State last Sunday, while Loyola won its midweek matchup against Georgetown 15-10.

  *   Sydni Black is leading the way offensively with 24 points (13g, 11a), followed by 21 points (11g, 10a) from Georgia Latch. Jillian Wilson (13g, 4a) and Emily Wills (8g, 9a) have each recorded 17 points across the first five games
  *   Jillian Wilson has registered a team-high 37 draw controls, while Katie Detwiler (22) and Sydni Black (16) have combined for 38
  *   Defensively, the Greyhounds have totaled 28 caused turnovers. Logan Olmstead leads the way with five CTs, while Sydni Black is close behind with four. Chase Boyle, Meg Hillman, Jillian Wilson and Ellie Rinehart have each registered three caused turnovers
