UAB Women’s Soccer Visits No. 11 Auburn

BIRMINGHAM –The UAB women’s soccer team remains in Alabama when they visit No. 11 Auburn on Thursday night.
 
THE SERIES VS. AUBURN
The Blazers and Tigers have met a total of 11 times, with Auburn holding a 7-4-0 advantage. UAB won the first four meetings in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.
 
SCOUTING AUBURN
Hannah Waesch and M.E. Craven each scored for Auburn in its 2-1 victory at Troy on Aug. 26. The Tigers’ match at South Alabama on Sunday was postponed.
 
COMMON OPPONENTS      
The teams have three common opponents this season – Alabama, Chattanooga and Samford.
 
UAB VS. SEC
The Blazers are 24-33-1 against schools currently playing in the SEC.

FUN FACT
Stella Kiss played the 2018 season at Auburn before transferring to UAB.
