UAB Women’s Soccer Falls to Alabama 2-0

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – After playing the first 59 minutes level, Alabama scored twice in a span of 36 seconds in its 2-0 victory over UAB on Sunday night.

The Crimson Tide (4-4-0) found the back of the net in the 60th minute when Felicia Knox set up Tanna Sanchez-Carreto. Ashlynn Serepca added the insurance goal on the next possession.

Canby BiddleStella KissLexxe Lipsey and Jessica Wheeler had a pair of shots for UAB (1-5-2). Anika Toth made four saves.

Up next is the Conference USA opener on Sept. 15 against LA Tech. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at BBVA Field.
