GAINSEVILLE, FL.– Former Gators standouts Kyle Trask and Kyle Pitts will be highlighted on two of ESPN’s pre-draft series ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft. Trask will be featured on QB21 with Kirk Herbstreit, while Pitts will make an appearance on Hey Rookie: Welcome to the NFL, the network announced Monday.

A seven-episode series, QB21 with Kirk Herbstreit will feature conversations with the ESPN lead college football analyst and six of the highest-rated quarterbacks in the nation. The show will dive into each prospect’s journey leading up to this year’s NFL Draft and will prompt them to open up about their lives on-and-off the field.

The theme for Trask’s episode will focus on his journey from a high school back up to a multi-year starter for the Gators, and it will air Monday, April 19 at 7 p.m. EST on ESPN2.

QB21 will premiere across four consecutive days, beginning Saturday, April 17, featuring Trask, Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Alabama’s Mac Jones, Ohio State’s Justin Fields, North Dakota State’s Trey Lance and BYU’s Zach Wilson. A compilation program featuring all six quarterbacks will air on Sunday, April 18 (2 p.m.) on ABC.

Meanwhile, Pitts will be among four top prospects featured on Hey Rookie: Welcome to the NFL, an NFL Films-produced series that follows the soon-to-be NFL rookies through their final days in college football, to their hometowns, their Pro Days and through the NFL Draft.

Hey Rookie is slated to air four consecutive weeks (April 13, 20, 27 and May 5) and will follow Pitts, Fields, Penn State’s Micah Parson and South Carolina’s Jaycee Horn.

The Gators duo quickly became a sensation during the 2020 season with Trask finishing his career as a Heisman Trophy finalist and Pitts winning the Mackey Award. Trask threw for 4,283 yards and 43 touchdowns to account for a total of 46 touchdowns last year, while Pitts became the best tight end and one of the top pass catchers in the country with 43 receptions, 770 yards and 12 touchdowns.
