Track – Soja Ready For National Championships

PUEBLO, CO. – Kamila Soja will represent the Nova Southeastern women’s track team at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The sophomore looks to carry her stellar running into the championship meet.

A week after being selected to the USTFCCCA All-Region team, the Chiopee native now has her sights set on an All-American honor. Soja competed in nine meets this outdoor season, earning top-5 finishes in six of those meets, with the biggest finish coming at the Lee University Last Chance meet. The sophomore not only took a minute off of her PR, but she also earned a qualifying mark for the National Championships in the 10,000 meters, with a time of 34:49.26.

Soja is scheduled to race in the 10,000 meters Thursday, May 25th, at 10:10 p.m.
