 HOW IT WAS DECIDED

FAU took over three minutes to cash in on a field goal, but an Iggy Allen layup off a steal and a Rita Pleskevich jumper knotted the game up at 5-5 with 5:54 left in the first. MT would then go on a 4-1 run, but Sofia Galeron helped elevate the Owls back on top with a 3-pointer to make for an 11-9 lead. The Lady Raiders finished the quarter on a 6-2 run, as the Owls trailed, 17-13.

The Lady Raiders crept within one point with a minute left, but Janeta Rozentale sunk a jumper to help the Owls hang on the lead, 37-34.

3Q
