INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (5-3) AT TENNESSEE TITANS (6-2)
Week 10 of the 2020 NFL season gets underway on Thursday, November 12 (8:20 PM ET, FOX/NFL Network/Amazon), as the Indianapolis Colts visit the Tennessee Titans in a battle for first place in the AFC South. This will be the first time the division rivals meet this season after splitting their two games last year. Overall, Indianapolis leads the all-time series, 34-16. In Week 13 of 2019, the Titans defeated the Colts, 31-17, in Indianapolis. Tennessee quarterback RYAN TANNEHILL completed 17 of 22 passes (77.3 percent) for two touchdowns and zero interceptions for a 131.2 passer rating in the victory, while running back DERRICK HENRY rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown.
Tannehill passed for two touchdowns and zero interceptions for a 104.9 rating in the Titans’ 24-17 win over Chicago last week. He has passed for at least two touchdowns in seven of eight games this season and it marked his 16th game with at least two passing touchdowns since the beginning of 2019, trailing only RUSSELL WILSON (18 games) for the most such games in the NFL over that span. Entering Week 10, Henry ranks second in the league in rushing yards (843) and leads all AFC running backs with eight rushing touchdowns. He has five rushing touchdowns in his past two games on Thursday Night Football and aims for his third in a row against Indianapolis with a rushing touchdown. BROWN had four catches for 101 yards and a touchdown last week and has a receiving touchdown in five consecutive games, the second-longest active streak in the league. Tight end JONNU SMITH recorded his sixth touchdown catch of the season last week, tied for the most among tight ends. Defensive back DESMOND KING had a 63-yard fumble-return touchdown in his debut with Tennessee in Week 9.
Last week, Indianapolis quarterback PHILIP RIVERS passed for 227 yards and now has 61,358 passing yards in his career. With four passing yards on Thursday, Rivers will surpass Pro Football Hall of Famer DAN MARINO (61,361) for the fifth-most in league history. In nine career games against Tennessee, Rivers has 17 touchdown passes against four interceptions for a 109 passer rating. Running back JONATHAN TAYLOR rushed for his fourth touchdown of the season last week, tied for the third-most among rookies this season. Running back NYHEIM HINES rushed for a touchdown in the teams’ last meeting. Wide receiver ZACH PASCAL had a team-high five catches for 55 yards in Week 9 and set career highs in catches (seven) and receiving yards (109) in the last meeting. Also in that Week 13 meeting last season, linebacker DARIUS LEONARD had a team-high 12 tackles and his second-career multi-sack game. Leonard recorded a season-high 15 tackles and had a fumble recovery last week. In four career games against the Titans, he has totaled four sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble. Defensive tackle DEFOREST BUCKNER had his first forced fumble of the season in Week 9 and he aims for his third in a row on Thursday Night Football with a sack.
