GREEN BAY PACKERS (5-2) AT SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (4-4)

Week 9 of the 2020 NFL season gets underway on Thursday, November 5 (8:20 PM ET, FOX/NFL Network/Amazon), as the Green Bay Packers visit the San Francisco 49ers in a rematch of the 2019 NFC Championship Game. In that contest, San Francisco running back RAHEEM MOSTERT rushed for a championship-game record 220 yards and four touchdowns as the 49ers defeated the Packers, 37-20. Thursday will mark the 52nd regular-season meeting between the two franchises, with Green Bay holding an all-time series lead, 32-28-1. In their last regular-season meeting (Week 12, 2019), San Francisco defeated Green Bay, 37-8, as quarterback JIMMY GAROPPOLO passed for two touchdowns with a 145.8 rating and tight end GEORGE KITTLE had six receptions for 129 yards and one touchdown.

Last week, Packers quarterback AARON RODGERS passed for 291 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions for a 110.9 rating. In seven career regular-season starts against San Francisco, he has 2,031 passing yards (290.1 per game) and 14 touchdowns with two interceptions for a 101.5 rating. This season, Rodgers ranks third in the NFL with 20 touchdown passes and a 113.0 passer rating. Since 2019, running back AARON JONES has 26 scrimmage touchdowns, tied with DERRICK HENRY for the most in the NFL. In the 2019 NFC Championship, he totaled 83 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) against San Francisco. Running back JAMAAL WILLIAMS totaled 102 scrimmage yards (75 rushing, 27 receiving) in Week 8 and has recorded at least 100 scrimmage yards in three of his past four games. Wide receiver DAVANTE ADAMS had a career-high three touchdown receptions in Week 8 and has at least two touchdown catches in three of his five games this season. Since 2016, Adams leads the NFL with 47 touchdown receptions. He has 26 receptions for 313 yards (104.3 per game) and three touchdowns in three career games, including the postseason, against the 49ers. Linebacker ZA’DARIUS SMITH had 1.5 sacks in the last regular-season meeting against San Francisco and is one of three NFC players (BRANDON GRAHAM and KHALIL MACK) with at least six sacks (six) and eight tackles for loss (eight) this season.

Quarterback NICK MULLENS passed for 238 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions for a 128.4 rating in Week 8. He made his NFL debut on Thursday Night Football in 2018 (Week 9 vs. Raiders) and passed for 262 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions for a 151.9 rating. Rookie wide receiver BRANDON AIYUK had a career-high eight receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown last week. Aiyuk is the only rookie wide receiver with at least 400 scrimmage yards (440) and four scrimmage touchdowns (four) this season. Wide receiver KENDRICK BOURNE aims for his third in a row on Thursday Night Football with a touchdown reception. Linebacker FRED WARNER had 11 tackles with a sack and forced fumble in the Week 12 meeting with Green Bay last season. Warner is the only player in the NFL with at least 60 tackles (61) and two interceptions (two) this season. Defensive lineman ARIK ARMSTEAD had a sack and forced fumble in the 2019 NFC Championship against the Packers and two sacks in the Week 12 meeting with Green Bay last season.
