The Decline of Professional Boxing

BY RICK CURTI

Good day everyone! Welcome to another edition of my latest articles as I continue to stir the pot and talk about things that most people won’t touch or are afraid to discuss.

Boxing stinks!

What happened to fighters like Mike Tyson, Julio Caesar Chavez, Evander Holyfield? The heavyweight division is a collossal joke. Nobody will remember or care for fighters like Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury or more importantly won’t care! I think Canelo Alvarez is one of the most overated fighters since the late Hector “Macho” Camacho.

Thank Goodness for fighters like Floyd Mayweather when he decides to fight or when he’s not fighting a clown cage fighter in Connor Mcgregor. Boxing is as bad as the WWE with scripted press conferences and silly stare downs that eventually lead to a brawl? (Who didn’t see that coming)

The UCF has really taking fighting by storm within the fighting arena and boxing has faded away not having a face or any credibility in the heavyweight division. It’s sad and painful to watch!

Please boxing I know all you care about is how much money you make in pay per views and how many judges you can buy off but I’ll be happy to see another Butterbean fight again.
