Tempe, Ariz.
– The only opponent Lynn University’s women’s tennis team couldn’t take down this season appears to be the ITA’s computerized rankings as the Fighting Knights fall from the top spot to No. 2 with this week’s release of the Oracle/ITA National Rankings.

The Blue and White have not hit the court since last week’s release of the rankings.

Lynn capped the 2019 regular season with a perfect 19-0 record and a 10-0 mark in Sunshine State Conference play, claiming the program’s first-ever SSC Regular Season Championship.

Barry University moves in to the top spot, whom Lynn defeated 5-2 in Miami Shores during the regular season. Fellow SSC foe Saint Leo remains in the third position, followed by Columbus State, UIndy and Nova Southeastern.

Leolia Jeanjean (No. 15) and Ulyana Grib (No. 62) remain in the singles rankings, while the pair combine for the 28th-ranked doubles squad.
