The Bulls will face six teams in home and away contests, including UCF in the annual War on I-4 games.
TAMPA (June 10, 2020) –The American Athletic Conference and University of South Florida head women’s basketball coach Jose Fernandez announced on Wednesday home and away opponents for the 16-game 2020-21 women’s basketball conference slate.

With this 16-game league schedule, each team in The American will play six of its 10 opponents twice and four opponents once each – two at home and two away. The conference has gone from 12 to 11 teams with the departure of UConn.
Coming off of its ninth straight 19-win season, USF will play home and away games against War on I-4 rival UCF, Houston, SMU, Temple, Tulane and Wichita State.
The Bulls will host Memphis and Tulsa once each, and will travel to Cincinnati and East Carolina once each.
Game dates, times, along with televised matchups, will be released at a later date.
USF women’s basketball ticket deposits are being accepted now for the 2020-2021 season. Deposits are $50 per seat and can be purchased by visiting GoUSFBulls.com or calling the USF Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-Go-Bulls.

USF notched its ninth consecutive 19-win season and was poised for its ninth straight postseason appearance in 2019-20 before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the end of the college basketball season. The Bulls celebrated two all-conference honorees in Elena Tsineke and Elisa Pinzan. Tsineke was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, in addition to The American All-Freshman Team and Third Team All-Conference; while Pinzan was named a Third Team All-Conference selection.
USF has made 15 postseason tournament appearances and had six NCAA Tournament berths in head coach Jose Fernandez’s 20 seasons. The all-time winningest coach in program history, Fernandez has guided USF to nine 20-win seasons, two WNIT final four appearances, the 2009 WNIT championship and won more than 350 games.
