Stoneman Douglas Boys Cross Country Team

The Stoneman Douglas Boys Cross Country Team participated in the Coral Springs Championship meet at Tradewinds Park. The Eagles runners are one of the strongest programs in South Florida and have done very well in local and regional meets. Connor Greep, a leader on the team loves running and is doing well. “Cross Country is a demanding sport and it takes dedication and effort to do well,” he said. Quinn McCluskey, also a leader on the team said, “We run a lot of miles and we put in a lot of effort.”Coach Mike Mauro said, “We are doing well this season. The runners have put in a lot of effort this season. We are looking forward to the district meet.”The Douglas runners trained during the summer and were well prepared for the fall season.
