Staff Update: What’s New with the Dean Team

Fans-
While we wait patiently for the start of the 2020 baseball season, we wanted to let you know that the grind hasn’t stopped. After finalizing merchandise inventory and initializing refunds for the cancelled Spring Training games, the majority of our staff have begun to work from home. Despite the social distancing, our team has kept working to guarantee the best 2020 season for fans when baseball returns.

Our maintenance and cleaning staff have been working diligently to make sure the stadium is sanitized properly and in top shape for the start of the season. In accordance with CDC guidelines, this is happening with a limited number of staff each day. Our Grounds Crew has also taken this approach by continuing work to  the main field as well as the 12 backfields within our complex.

For those team members working remotely, it has been constant preparation for our Florida State League Season. Zoom video calls and all staff conference calls have become a common practice throughout the week as we hash out details moving forward.

We continue to support and recognize our community partners both on the health care side, who are tackling this pandemic on the front line, but also the restaurant and hospitality industries who continue business during these unknown times. Additionally, we thank all of the workers who are not able to work from home:

  • Police, Fire Rescue and other Emergency Responders
  • Grocery store employees
  • Delivery personnel
  • Farmers and the entire agricultural community
  • Plus so many more.

We salute your dedication to our community  during these time.

Baseball will return and when it does, we’ll be ready!

Stay Safe,
Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium Team
