COLUMBUS, Ga. – Lynn University’s softball team dropped its two tilts on Saturday, falling to West Alabama 11-10 and to Columbus State 6-0, to wrap up play at the CSU Tournament.

STATS OF THE GAME:
Game One
· Shayle Arenson went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, adding an RBI.
· Grasy Gomez hit a three-run home run and scored twice.
· Natalie Costero had two hits in four at-bats, adding a run scored and an RBI.
· Kayla Sheffield and Lexi Butler also had two hits.
· Allyson Jameston (8-3) surrendered six runs in 1.1 innings before Amelia Saviskas finished off the final 4.2 innings.
Game Two
· Brittney Davis and Kayla Sheffield each had a hit for Lynn.
· Jameston (8-4) took the loss, going 4.0 innings and giving up four earned runs while striking out three.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
· Lynn’s 13 hits against West Ala. matched a season-high, last recorded against Ga. Southwestern on Feb. 1.
· The Fighting Knights are now just 1-8 on the road.
