FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Softball team picked up a pair of wins on Saturday afternoon, defeating Lynn in a doubleheader. Ryleigh Langwell’s heroics drove the Sharks to a 3-2 walk-off win in game one, while a pair of three-hit performers in Alexis Smith and Kerstyn Shaw helped NSU earn a 4-2 victory in game two.

TOP 1st | Lynn jumped out to a 1-0 lead after a base hit to left field.
BOT 2nd | Tia Williams reached on an error, stole second and was advanced to third after tagging up on a flyout to left field. Emily Thomas drove in Williams with a base hit and tied the game 1-1.
BOT 3rd | Alyssa Drogemuller (BB), Ryleigh Langwell (1B) and Madison Fine (BB) loaded the bases with one out. Williams drove in Drogemuller on a sacrifice fly to deep right field, giving the Sharks a 2-1 advantage.
TOP 5th | The Knights fought back, tying the game 2-2 after an RBI-single through the middle.
BOT 7th | With two outs, Alexis Smith worked a walk and stole second while Drogemuller drew a walk. Langwell singled through the infield, driving in Smith and earning a 3-2 walk-off win for the Sharks in game one of the double-header.
· Ryleigh Langwell had three of NSU’s four hits.
· Alyssa Drogemuller worked three walks in four at-bats.

TOP 1st | Lynn got out to a 1-0 lead after a solo homerun.
TOP 2nd | The Knights extended its lead to 2-0 after scoring on an error.
BOT 4th | Kerstyn Shaw led off the inning with a double and was advanced to third after a sacrifice bunt. The Sharks inched closer, lowering its deficit to 2-1 after Thomas drove in Shaw.
BOT 5th | Smith got the inning started with a solo homerun, tying the game 2-2.
BOT 6th | Williams doubled to start the inning, and the Sharks took the lead after a base-hot from Shaw scored Williams. Samantha Burke extended NSU’s lead to 4-2 after a single through the right side drove in Shaw.
TOP 7th | Drogemuller closed out Lynn, securing a 4-2 win for Nova Southeastern and a double-header sweep.

· Kerstyn Shaw scored two runs.
The Sharks will return to the diamond on Friday, April 21 for a three-game series at Barry in Miami Shores, Fla. First-pitch is set for 6 p.m.
