COLUMBUS, Ga. – Lynn University’s softball team split its two contests on Friday, defeating Erskine College 5-1 before falling to West Alabama 5-3, at the Columbus State Tournament.

· Shayle Arenson picked up a two-RBI double and went 2-for-3.
· Brittney Davis and Shannon Johnson knocked in one run each.
· Allyson Jameston (8-2) pitched for the Fighting Knights and threw a complete game, five-hitter, surrendering just one earned run with three strikeouts.
Game Two
· Brittney Davis was 2-for-3 with a run scored, a walk and an RBI.
· Kayla Sheffield and Natalie Costero also each had an RBI.
