SERIE DEL CARIBE CELEBRATION AT LOANDEPOT PARK ON SATURDAY, APRIL 29 BEGINS WITH PRE-GAME PRESS CONFERENCE

MIAMI – The Miami Marlins and loanDepot park will hold a press conference on Saturday, April 29 at 2:30 p.m. to introduce Team Nicaragua and Team Curaçao, the two invited teams set to join Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela at 2024 Serie del Caribe (Caribbean Series) at loanDepot park.

Representatives from the two invited teams, along with MLB Legend Andruw Jones, Caribbean Federation Commissioner Juan Francisco Puello and Marlins President of Business Operation Caroline O’Connor will headline the press conference. Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero Sr. will also be in attendance for the Serie Del Caribe festivities and will be available to media following the conclusion of the press conference.

Team Nicaragua and Team Curaçao were extended invitations by the Caribbean Confederation to the 2024 Serie del Caribe which will take place at loanDepot park. The home of the Miami Marlins is set to become the first MLB venue to host the Serie del Caribe in tournament history. Earlier this year, loanDepot park hosted the 2023 World Baseball Classic, which saw more than 500,000 fans visit the ballpark for international baseball action.

Fans can join the fun of the club’s Serie del Caribe Celebration on Saturday, April 29 at loanDepot park by visiting Marlins.com/SDC. The special ticket package for the celebration features a commemorative Serie del Caribe Celebration Marlins T-shirt and early access to tickets to the tournament in 2024. The celebration includes various photo opportunities on the left field concourse of the Promenade Level, including one with the championship trophy. The party continues with post-game entertainment presented by Hard Rock featuring a live performance by Grupo Karisma, a local Dominican band that will have fans dancing to the best merengue hits.
