2/19/2024 | Softball BOCA RATON, Fla. – Pitcher Trinity Schlotterbeck and Outfielder Presley Leebrick for the Florida Atlantic softball team (8-3) were named AAC Players of the Week for the first time this season, announced by the league Monday afternoon. After throwing on Friday afternoon against Louisville to get the win for the Owls, Schlotterbeck improved her record to 3-1 as she threw her first complete game and shutout of the season against Michigan on Saturday. With a 3-0 record over the weekend, the graduate pitcher finished with a 0.84 ERA in 16.2 innings pitched.In 17 at-bats, Leebrick registered four runs, seven hits, eight RBI, and a home run. In the week, she recorded a .412 batting average. Leebrick finished with four walks and a stolen base in the week and a 1.000% fielding percentage. In the game against Louisville, Leebrick hit a two run home run to right field after an 11-pitch at-bat to tie the game for the Owls and get the offense going. In the sixth inning, she hit an RBI single to extend the lead for the Owls 5-3. UP NEXT The Owls remain in Boca Raton next week, hosting the Owl Classic.
