Schanuel Earns All-American Nod From Collegiate Baseball

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Collegiate Baseball Newspaper has named Nolan Schanuel as a First Team All-American, the publication announced on Thursday. This is the first of what is expected to be several All-America nods for the Conference USA Player of the Year.
 
In his third season as an Owl, the Boynton Beach native led the nation in batting average (.447), on base percentage (.615), and walks (71). Schanuel also led C-USA in slugging percentage (.868), hits (88), and OPS (1.483). He is a semifinalist for several national honors, including USA Baseball’s Golden Spikes Award.
