SABEN LEE NAMED NBA G LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

DETROIT – The NBA G League announced today that Saben Lee has been named Player of the Week for the week of January 31. This is Lee’s second Player of the Week honor this season.  

Lee, who was named Player of the Month in November, averaged 31 points, 8 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game and led the Cruise to a 3-0 week. His electric play has propelled the Motor City Cruise to a G League best, 12-3 record. In the seven regular-season games he’s played, Lee is averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game. He’s accumulated eight 30-point games this season while currently leading the G League in points per game. 

The Cruise play their next game on Wednesday, February 9 against the Greensboro Swarm at 7:00 PM ET at Greensboro Coliseum Fieldhouse. Motor City returns to Wayne State Fieldhouse on Tuesday, February 15, when they host the G League Ignite at 7:00 PM ET.
