After re-evaluating bringing groups of people together for events and performances during the recent surge of omicron, the City of Pompano Beach has authorized various outdoor events to be held. As these are unprecedented times creating unique circumstances, difficult decisions had to be made as to whether to postpone, cancel or allow public events to go on based on crowd size and venue.
The City website lists the status of each event however, the following large events are as follows: • Untapped – January 7th – As Scheduled
• Green Market – January 8th – As Scheduled
• Shell Show – January 8th – Cancelled
• Music Under The Stars – January 14th – As Scheduled • MLK Parade and Celebration – January 17th – TBA
• Nautical Flea Market – January 22nd and 23rd – Cancelled
• Jazz Festival – January 27th and 28th – Postponed Please refer to the City’s website for additional event scheduling.
