• Miami’s 48 points tonight were a franchise-best in a preseason game. The previous high was 45 in a 45-20 win vs. New Orleans on Aug. 10, 1974.
• The 38-point margin of victory was also the largest in a preseason game in Dolphins history.

• The victory improves Miami’s all-time record in the preseason to 135-109-4.
• The Dolphins are now 6-5 all-time in preseason games against the Eagles.
• This is Miami’s first preseason win over Philadelphia since Aug. 29, 1987 (35-3).
DOLPHINS TOTAL 494 YARDS OF OFFENSE IN WIN
• Miami’s offense racked up 494 total yards tonight, averaging 7.8 yards per play.
o The 494 total yards was the second-highest mark in a preseason game by any NFL team since 2017. Only Buffalo’s 510 total yards last week vs. Denver was higher.
o The 7.8 yards per play was the fifth-highest mark in an NFL preseason game since 2017.
• The Dolphins were balanced too, totaling 298 yards in the air and 203 on the ground.
o The 203 rushing yards were the most by Miami in a preseason game since at least 2017 and the 12th-most in the NFL since then.
• Miami averaged 10.8 yards per pass attempt tonight, the ninth-best mark by an NFL team in a preseason game since 2017.
TAGOVAILOA POST S PERFECT PASSER RATING
• QB Tua Tagovailoa played three possessions in the first quarter, leading the Dolphins to points on all three.
• He finished the evening completing 6-of-7 passes (85.7 pct.) for 121 yards, one touchdown and a perfect passer rating of 158.3.
• Tagovailoa’s first snap of the game was a 51-yard strike down the middle of the field to WR Tyreek Hill. He completed a 13-yard pass to Hill on the subsequent play and the drive eventually ended with an 8-yard touchdown pass to WR River Cracraft.
• The second drive of the quarter ended with a 55-yard field goal from K Jason Sanders.
• On Miami’s third possession, Tagovailoa helped drive the team 88 yards as RB Sony Michel capped the drive with a 1-yard touchdown run.
CAMPBELL TAKES PICK – SIX BACK 30 YARDS FOR SCORE
• DB Elijah Campbell stepped in front of a pass from Eagles QB Reid Sinnett in the second quarter and took it 30 yards to the end zone to give Miami a 24-0 lead.
• The pick-six was the third-longest by an NFL player this season.
• It was Miami’s second defensive touchdown of the preseason after LB Sam Eguavoen had a 32-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the first preseason game at Tampa Bay.
• Miami was the only NFL team this preseason to have multiple defensive touchdowns.
o During the 2021 season, the Dolphins had five defensive touchdowns, which was tied for second-most in the NFL last year.

• RB Raheem Mostert made his preseason debut and totaled 29 rushing yards on two carries (14.5 avg.), including a long carry of 26 yards.
• QB Skylar Thompson completed 7-of-10 passes (70.0 pct.) for 103 yards and three touchdowns. He finished the preseason with a 138.4 passer rating, the highest in the NFL (min. 42 attempts).
o Thompson’s five touchdown passes this preseason also led the NFL.
o His three touchdown passes tonight were tied for the most thrown in an NFL preseason game this season (Chicago’s Justin Fields, 8/27/22 at Cleveland.
• K Jason Sanders made two field goals today, including a 55-yarder in the first quarter.
o It’s his fourth field goal from 50+ yards this preseason. No NFL kicker had made more than three 50+ yarders in a preseason dating back to at least 2017.
