Pair of C-USA Football Games Shift to New Dates

DALLAS – FIU, Liberty and New Mexico State have announced that two football games for the 2023 season have been shifted at the request of the conference office and its multimedia partners.

The matchup that features Liberty traveling to Miami to take on FIU has been moved from Thursday, Sept. 28 to Saturday, Sept. 23.

Additionally, FIU’s game at New Mexico State is moving from Thursday, Oct. 5, to Wednesday, Oct. 4.


The 2023 C-USA alignment will feature nine teams with no divisions. FIU, Jacksonville State, Liberty, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, UTEP and WKU comprise Conference USA for the upcoming football season.

 
The 2023 schedule complies with C-USA scheduling policies as approved by the Board of Directors.

It is important to note that all games on the 2023 schedule are subject to date changes and some dates may move in the coming weeks in order to accommodate national television selections. A schedule of televised games will be released at a later date.
