BOSTON, Mass. – South Florida’s Saminu Abdul-Rasheed earned First Team All-American honors, while Wichita State’s Destiny Masters earned Second Team All-America honors during the final day of competition at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Boston.
After qualifying for the finals in the 60-meter dash, Abdul-Rasheed finished in 8th place during a highly contested race, running a 6.69 second dash. He finished one-one hundredth of a second out of 7th place.
Already a First Team All-American in the pentathlon, Wichita State’s Destiny Masters finished with second team honors in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.85 meters to take home 12th place.
