Orange Bowl Committee Announces C-Level Organizational Changes

Ana Hernandez-Ochoa promoted to Chief Operating Officer;Mitch Morrall promoted to Chief Administrative Officer;Goldwyn Harper named Chief Marketing Officer
Miami Lakes, Fla. (www.orangebowl.org) – The Orange Bowl Committee (OBC) and Chief Executive Officer Eric Poms announced today that Ana Hernandez-Ochoa has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer, Mitch Morrall promoted to the position of Chief Administrative Officer and Goldwyn Harper named to the position of Chief Marketing Officer.
Hernandez-Ochoa, as the Chief Operating Officer, will oversee all day-to-day operations of the OBC in her new role, with a focus on revenue generation in the ticket sales and sponsorships departments. She began her tenure at the organization as Corporate Partnerships Coordinator in April 2002, moved up to a role in the marketing department in 2005, rose to Vice President in 2010 and most recently held the position of Chief Marketing Officer since 2014. Born and raised in South Florida, Hernandez-Ochoa earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Florida International University and currently resides in Miami with her husband Jason and their two children.
Morrall, as the Chief Administrative Officer, continues to oversee the organization’s extensive portfolio of events and special projects. He joined the OBC in 2005 as the Director of Events. In 2006, he was promoted to Vice President and most recently served as the Senior Vice President, Operations & Special Projects since 2019. The son of former Miami Dolphins Super Bowl-winning quarterback Earl Morrall, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and master’s degree from St. Thomas University. Morrall currently resides in Davie with his wife Elizabeth and their two children.
Harper, newly appointed to the role of Chief Marketing Officer, will oversee communications, marketing and community outreach for the OBC, with a focus on growing the organization’s already impactful role in the South Florida community. Prior to joining the OBC, Harper spent nearly four years with the NFL’s Affiliate Distribution team, negotiating carriage deals and supporting partner marketing and communication efforts for NFL Network, NFL RedZone, and the NFL Channel. Harper served in the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery officer for more than six years, forward deploying to South Korea and Iraq. A proud native of the Pittsburgh area, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and a JD/MBA from Michigan State University.
Brian Park will continue to serve the organization as Chief Financial Officer, a role he has held since joining the OBC in 2003.
