No. 15 South Florida Closes Out Regular-Season at UCF on Thursday

The AAC regular-season champion Bulls and Knights to meet for the second time in three days.

TAMPA (March 3, 2021) – The No. 15-ranked University of South Florida women’s basketball team closes out the 2020-21 regular-season with the second of back-to-back games against UCF in the War On I-4 series. The Bulls will travel east on Interstate 4 to face the Knights on Thursday in Orlando. Tip-off in Addition Financial Arena is slated for 5 p.m. and can be seen nationally on ESPNU.

The Bulls (15-2, 13-1* American Athletic Conference) won their first conference regular-season title on Tuesday with their thrilling 65-62 win over the Knights in the Yuengling Center.

– The Bulls have won 23 of the last 28 games over the Knights, however, snapped a four-game losing streak with their win over UCF on Tuesday.

– Following the regular season, the Bulls will head back to the Lone Star State for the 2021 Air Force Reserve American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, March 8-11.

– By winning the AAC regular-season title, and earning the No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament, USF will face the winner of the eight-nine game on March 9 at 3 p.m. ET in the tournament quarterfinals.

USF notched its ninth consecutive 19-win season and was poised for its ninth straight postseason appearance in 2019-20 before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the end of the college basketball season.
