INDIANAPOLIS – Wright State’s Loudon Love averaged a double-double with 19 points and 12.5 rebounds to help the Raiders begin Horizon League play 2-0 to earn Nike® #HLMBB Player of the Week, while Oakland’s Blake Lampman hit four 3-pointers to help the Golden Grizzlies to a win over their Metro Series rival to be named Nike® #HLMBB Freshman of the Week as the Horizon League announced its men’s basketball weekly honors on Tuesday.

Love turned in back-to-back double-digit scoring games to open Horizon League play last week as the Raiders went 2-0 at home. The junior began HL play with his fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 22 points and 16 rebounds to lead all players in both categories against Green Bay. He followed that up with a 16-point, 9-rebound effort on Monday night against Milwaukee. For the two games, he averaged 19.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game – 21 of which came on the defensive glass – along with 3.5 assists. Love is nearly averaging a double-double this season with 14.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.

Blake Lampman | Oakland | Freshman | Guard | Haslett, Mich.
Lampman went 4-of-9 from deep for 12 points in Oakland’s program-record sixth-straight victory against Detroit Mercy. After going 1-of-15 the previous two outings, the Haslett, Mich., native found his shot from beyond the arc to lead the Golden Grizzlies in a season-high nine made triples as a team. Lampman also dished out a career-high 5 assists against the Titans as Oakland started the #HLMBB season 1-0.
