Welcome to another edition of Rick’s Rants. The NFL draft just ended and what are your thoughts? Who are your winners and losers? To Me The Arizona Cardinals have to be the biggest losers?
How do you draft a quarterback in the first round last season and then trade him away the next season and not get a first round pick back for him?
I have my doubts of Kyler Murray. I think he’s too short and small to be a successful quarterback in the NFL. His style of play doesn’t work in the NFL and we’ve seen similiar quarterbacks like RG3 or a Michael Vick or Randall Cunningham have great but short playing careers.
I have no clue what the Cardinals are doing? Some have said the Giants when they selected Duke Quarterback Daniel Jones Number 6 over the impressive Ohio St Quarterback Dwayne Haskins. I was stunned and I think the Giants will pay for that pick.
My Winner would be the Washington Redskins with the Dwayne Haskins pick and they filled a lot of needs with all the picks they had.
