New developments coming to Oakland Park

There are a number of interesting developments in Oakland Park. A series of public and private projects will improve the downtown and bringing new amenities to the community. Voters approved a bond for a new city facilities, including City Park, the North Andrews Gardens Community Center, Fire Station 9, and Fire Station 20.

Oakland Park is working with NRI on a Public-Private Partnership to build the Sky Building on the west side of Dixie Highway, a mixed-use project that will include residential, retail, and the new City Hall. The City is also working with Kaufman Lynn Falcone Group on another mixed-use development that will include residential, retail, open space, and a platform for a commuter rail stop.
