NFL Network & NFL Films’ ‘NFL 100’ Programming Wins Two Awards

The National Football League won six Sports Emmy Award nominations for its work across NFL Network, NFL Films, NFL.com and the league office, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced last night.

The NFL’s Next 100 short film which aired on FOX moments before kickoff at Super Bowl LIV won four Sports Emmy awards in the categories of Outstanding Open/Tease, Outstanding Studio or Production Design/Art Direction, Outstanding Editing – Short Form, and Outstanding Post-Produced Audio/Sound. NFL Network and NFL Films won two Sports Emmy awards for programming surrounding the NFL 100 All-Time Team series which aired last season in the categories of Outstanding Studio Show – Limited Run and Outstanding Trans-Media Sports Coverage.

In their history, NFL Films has won 131 Sports Emmy Awards making them the most-honored filmmaker in sports.
