DETROIT – The Motor City Cruise, NBA G League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, announced today their 2024-25 G League schedule. Entering their fourth season, the Cruise will open the 2024-25 slate at home against the Windy City Bulls on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. ET at Wayne State Fieldhouse.

The Cruise will begin the 2024-25 campaign with the Tip-Off Tournament, making up the first 14 games of the season. The Cruise will compete in a regional pod with contests against Windy City, Indiana, Iowa, Cleveland, Sioux Falls, Wisconsin and Grand Rapids for an opportunity to advance to the Tip-Off Tournament single-elimination games from Dec. 19-22. The Cruise’s Tip-Off Tournament schedule is highlighted by the home opener against the Windy City Bulls on Nov. 12 and a five-game homestand from Nov. 20-Dec. 1, including matchups against Iowa, Cleveland and Sioux Falls before concluding their Tip-Off schedule with a five-game road trip.
Following the Tip-Off Tournament, the Cruise begin their regular season at home against the defending NBA G League Eastern Conference Champions, the Maine Celtics, on Dec. 29. Additionally, the G League’s newest team, the Valley Suns, will make their first-ever trip to Detroit for a two-game series on Jan. 15 and 17. Other notable home games include the Celtics returning to Detroit to play the Cruise on Feb. 25, and the Cleveland Charge, featuring Eastern Michigan alumnus and Ypsilanti-native Emoni Bates, visiting the Fieldhouse on March 16.
Along with several theme nights and giveaways that will be announced at a later date, the Cruise will host three Education Day games at 11 a.m. for local schools in the metro Detroit area, which are set for Nov. 20, Feb. 12 and March 12.
