On Thursday, July 11, 2019, it seemed like old times going to a singles event.
I remember many years ago, I used to go to these singles parties looking for Mrs. Right. On this night, it was a different feeling since I was with Mrs. Right, aka, My Wife Candy.
The hosts were kind to mention that we own our Online Publication, The South Florida Tribune, a sponsor of this event. The event which was hosted by Millionaire Socialites Dating Society is a Matchmaking Agency. It took place at Il Bacio Restaurant & Lounge in Delray Beach, FL.
The General Admission was $10, there was a 2-4-1 Drinks along with a Complimentary “Buffet” Style Appetizers. The “Special Guest” Live Music Performance was by “Dan Carlos” and the Jeff Prine Group. These guys did a real nice job! It was nice getting to know Carlos as we share the same passion for talking into a microphone since I’ve been a radio broadcaster for 40 years.
Who knows how many dates actually came from this event.
I’ll know when I go to another one and perhaps see some familiar faces.

I’ve never liked going to bars to find dates.
Although I met my wife through online dating, there are many risks to doing this. There are profiles that could be dishonest, older photos and lots of misrepresentation therefore, it’s important to meet in a public place.
Tonight, we were in that public place. The worst thing that could happen was just having a pleasant evening out and possibly making a new friend.
The best scenario is potentially meeting your soulmate.
But all in all for me, it was a trip down memory lane.
